Ben Keiper’s obsession with musical theatre began when he debuted onstage at eight years old. His experience as the title character’s adorable younger brother in a Shreveport, Louisiana, production of “Annie Get Your Gun” was the gateway to his showtune-singing, stage-stealing, and thoroughly musical adolescence. He has since graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a degree in vocal performance, during which time he immersed himself in the campus’s student-run musical theatre troupe, the Pauper Players. As an actor, director, and member of the production council, Ben worked on ten shows during his college career, including directing and conducting a production of Sondheim’s “Company” and co-writing a dinner theatre musical. Ben is in New York to pursue his interest in the non-profit arts community and his passion for the collaborative development of new musicals.
